Abia Warriors Adeleke Adekunle gets Super Eagles call

Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr, has called up Abia Warriors defender Adeleke Adekunle to replace Kenneth Omeruo who had to drop off the squad for the Afcon qualifiers against the Benin Republic and Lesotho.

Kenneth Omeruo was excused from the squad after his club CD Leganes stopped him from attending the game.

Adeleke Adekunle is the third home-based player to be invited into the squad after the Enyimba duo of John Noble and Anayo Iwuala.

Omeruo is also the latest player to pull out of the squad after Samuel Kalu, Moses Simon, and Sodiq Umar.
