Rivers Hoopers head coach, Ogoh Odaudu has disclosed that his team has put behind them the loss to home team, Patriots last Sunday in the ongoing Basketball Africa League in Kigali, Rwanda. The KingsMen fell to an 83-60 points loss in the opening game of the inaugural season of the competition.

After watching the other group opponents yesterday in which Tunisian side, US Monastir easily dispatched GNBC of Madagascar, the coach told our correspondent in Kigali what he felt went wrong with his side in the opening game and said he's optimistic that they have what it takes to compete favourably against one of the title favorites on Thursday.

Ogoh Odaudu who is currently a part of the Nigerian Men's Basketball Team coaching staff urged Nigerians to keep their belief in the team and put Sunday's loss behind them.

Day 3 action of the Basketball Africa League continued today with Group B games taking center stage. Petro De Luanda of Angola defeated AS Police of Mali 84-66 while AS Sale of Morocco and FAP of Cameroon served fans a delightful game of basketball but the Moroccan side recorded a narrow 87-84 points victory over their rivals from Cameroon.
