Gauff, Swiatek to faceoff at the French Open final

The pair of Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek have both qualified for the final of the French Open as they both blitz passed their opponents in the last four on Thursday. Gauff, 18, won 6-3, 6-1 against unseeded Italian Martina Trevisan who was playing her first ever major semifinal to set up an interesting final with Iga Swiatek who had practically dominated Russian Daria Kasatkina on Thursday. Swiatek completed a serene journey into the Rolland Garros final with a 6-2, 6-1 win over 20th seed Russian. The Polish star and current world number one will equal Venus Williams' record for the longest women winning run since 2000 if she wins the final on Saturday.
