Lacazette to return to Lyon after life at Arsenal
Alexandre Lacazette will return to Olympic Lyon when he sees out his contract at Arsenal after agreeing a deal with the French side.
The 31 year old is already in the final month of his contract and he has failed to negotiate over fresh terms with the club and Arsenal has prioritized renewal for Eddie Nketiah.
Lacazette joined the Gunners from Lyon in 2017 for a club record fee of £46.5 and the club has never hidden the desire to re-sign the French international again.
The striker is understood to have agreed the terms of a return to his boyhood club, with just minor details left to work out before the move can be finalised.
With his contract winding down, Lacazette is preparing to leave Arsenal with a record of 71 goals and 36 assists in 206 games with just four of those goals coming in 30 Premier League outings over this past season
