Onuachu’s well-taken brace leads KRC Genk to victory over KV Kotrijk
Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu scored a brace on Saturday to propel his Genk side to a 2-1 win over KV Kotrijk as the Belgian Pro League enters matchday eleven.
It was his third goal this term, having opened this season's goal account last week at Oostende.
Onuachu, 28, showed class in front of goal, connecting pretty well with Treson Ndayishimiye to fire his side ahead after thirty-seven minutes, and then scored from the spot in the latter minutes of the tie, canceling out Faiz Selemani's equalier and sealing the much needed victory for Genk.
Today's performance earned Onuachu the game's highest rating and Man of the Match award, particularly after playing as a lone striker upfront.
The Nigerian international had a 100 percent shot conversion rate in the tie, and managed a 75% pass accuracy.
Onuachu will lead Genk's frontline next week as they visit fourth placed Oud-Heverlee in the league's matchday twelve next weekend.
