Real Sociedad announces Nigerian striker's signing
Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad have announced the signing of Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq on a four-year deal.
Sociedad became interested in the Nigerian international after Alexander Isaq left the club to join English Premier League side Newcastle United for a club-record fee of €70m.
Real Sociedad took to their social media accounts to announce the signing of the former AS Roma of Italy forward.
Meanwhile, Umar's former side, Almeria have thanked him for his contribution to the club following his switch to Real Sociedad.
"Sadiq, we can't thank you enough. We wish you luck in this new phase," Almeria wrote on Twitter.
